The American Reforesting & Rewilding Association is excited to introduce our 2023 Board of Directors. This talented group of individuals brings a diverse range of skills and experiences to our organization, and we are thrilled to have them on board.

Chair: Dr. Allison Baker

First up is our new Chair, Dr. Allison Baker. Dr. Baker has been a professor of ecology and conservation biology for over 20 years and has published numerous research papers on reforestation and biodiversity conservation. She brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to our board, and we are honored to have her leading our organization.

Vice Chair: Javier Rodriguez

Next, we have our Vice Chair, Javier Rodriguez. Javier has spent the last decade working in the forestry industry and has extensive experience in reforestation and sustainable forest management. He is passionate about promoting sustainable practices and creating healthy, thriving ecosystems, and we are excited to have him on our team.

Treasurer: Elizabeth Chen

Our Treasurer, Elizabeth Chen, is a seasoned finance professional with over 15 years of experience in the banking industry. She has a passion for environmental conservation and has been a longtime supporter of our organization. We are thrilled to have her expertise in managing our finances and helping us achieve our mission.

Secretary: Rebecca Jameson

As our Secretary, we welcome Rebecca Jameson. Rebecca is an attorney specializing in environmental law and has been a longtime advocate for environmental justice. She brings a strong legal background and a passion for social justice to our organization, and we are excited to have her help guide our efforts.

Rounding out our board is our newest member, Maria Alvarez. Maria is a biologist with extensive experience in ecosystem restoration and conservation. She has worked on projects around the world and brings a global perspective to our organization. We are excited to have her on our team and look forward to the valuable insights she will bring to our work.

Together, this talented group of individuals will help guide the American Reforesting & Rewilding Association as we work towards our mission of creating healthy, sustainable ecosystems. We are honored to have them on our team and look forward to the work we will accomplish together.
